Wellbeing is more than just being 'happy', it is the sense
of feeling physically, mentally and emotionally well. Your sense of wellbeing may be affected by many different things - your
physical health, the place you live, whether you have a job you like, if
you are in a happy relationship.
You may not have any control over some of these things but there
are many changes you can make to improve your sense of wellbeing. There are small and simple lifestyle choices
that you can make that will make a big difference to the way you feel.
This website aims to provide the people of Northamptonshire with
the information you need to make these lifestyle choices and increase your sense of wellbeing. There are many things - what
you eat, the exercise you take, what you do in your spare time - that can have a massive impact on your stress levels and
your mood.
There is also information about the things that may negatively affect your
sense of wellbeing such as mental or physical health problems. The site also includes links to other useful websites and a
directory of the resources and organisations that are available in Northamptonshire that provide assistance, advice,
information and support for a wide range of issues and problems.
Use the navigation bar on the left hand side of the screen to take
a look through our wellbeing information.
